We were tasked with designing a nearly complete renovation of the upper floor of Motor Square Gardens in Pittsburgh, PA. AAA wanted to consolidate nearly all of their staff onto one floor to free up additional space in the building for lease. The renovation added over 50 private offices, centered around natural light and acoustic privacy. It also included an executive board room & conference suite, employee break areas, smaller meeting areas, storage, and updated restrooms. The renovation maintained the existing character of the building in the central atrium, while updating everything beyond the glass storefronts into a modern working environment. The design also incorporated simple color-coded wayfinding elements to ease orientation and wayfinding in the space.
